He thanked all participants for their understanding, cooperation and support during the whole session. He said this seminar has served as a bridge and a platform, connecting all of us from different countries and building friendship among us. During the study of this period and the internship in Yunnan Province, participants had presented with a micro but multi-dimension China, including Chinese culture, social-economic development, meteorological services, as well as daily life of Chinese people and so on. He hope all of them could be the Goodwill Ambassador to bring our friendship to African countries.
Mr. Musungwa from Zimbabwe, the representative of participants, extended sincere thanks to Chinese Government, NUIST and WMO RTC Nanjing. He said they would be forever grateful and indebted to this gesture by the Government of the Peoples’ Republic of China and the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology WMO Regional Training Centre Staff. He believed that the knowledge and experience that they had gained in the past 28 days would be beneficial not to them as individuals, but to their respective countries.   The training course was finished but he hoped this closing event would be the beginning of their work. They will urge the government to make reasonable decisions to reduce the impacts of Climate change on African countries.
