WMO RTC Nanjing Held Training Course on Instrument Maintenance and Calibration  

       In the morning of November 2, the opening ceremony of Training on Instrument Maintenance and Calibration sponsored by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), organized by WMO RTC Nanjing and WMO Asian Regional Instrument Centre was held in NUIST. Lei Zhaochong, deputy director of the WMO RTC Nanjing hosted the ceremony.             
       Professor Li Gang, vice-chancellor of NUIST, warmly welcomed the arrival of participants. He stressed that the instrument maintenance and calibration can effectively improve the accuracy of weather observation data in order to lay a solid foundation for the meteorological services, research and service work. The training focuses on the meteorological specifications, calibration and maintenance and quality control or other relevant expertise, so that participants will better take on the workload of meteorological instruments metrology, routine maintenance and data quality control. He hoped that this training can be a platform for the exchange of knowledge, he hoped the participants a nice stay in Nanjing.
  Ms. OHMAR THEIN, from Myanmar, as a representative of the participants expressed excited training experience in China and sincere gratitude to China Meteorological Administration, the World Meteorological Organization and the Regional Training Centre Nanjing.
 The course was the 93 rounds of international regional training courses organized by WMO RTC Nanjing. During the training period, participants will visit Jiangsu Provincial Meteorological Bureau and Jiangsu Province Institute of Radio.
