Health
Healthy, provide health certificates or health examination results issued by local public hospitals. Persons having infectious diseases, severe high blood pressure, cardio-cerebral vascular diseases, diabetes, mental diseases, and those who are physically severely disabled or pregnant, are not allowed to come to China for the training.

About the Organizer
WMO Regional Training Centre (RTC) Nanjing(Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology) has held 60 international and 18 bilateral training courses from 1990 to 2011. More than 1400 meteorologists and hydrologists from 128 countries and regions have been formed , many of them having gone on to become key figures in their respective National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs), including a number of leaders of the NMHSs. In 2010, WMO issued a special certificate of achievement for the 20th anniversary of international training for WMO RTC Nanjing “…… The WMO RTC in Nanjing, an important contribution of the People’s Republic of China to sustainable development and the achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals.” UNESCAP/WMO Typhoon Committee also designated WMO Nanjing Regional Training Centre as a training centre of Typhoon Committee in February 2012.
Training Course Content
This seminar is composed of lectures and study tours. The lectures primarily include:Chinese meteorological service and its management system; a brief introduction to meteorological disasters monitoring and early warning system in China; basic principles of satellite meteorology, focusing on and its application in high-impact weather and climate monitoring and forecasting; application of meteorological satellite in environmental monitoring, such as ecology, agriculture, climate, hydrology, and forest fire monitoring; Application of meteorological satellite in space weather monitoring; FENYUNCast system developed by CMA; a brief introduction to China and Chinese culture.
In order to combine theories with practices and help participants understand China more comprehensively and more profoundly, meteorological practice and study tours are also included.
